Powerslide Nordic Skates
In 2005 Powerslide introduced its Nordic Skates in Germany.
Because of the continuous further development of Nordic skates and the growing interest of the media in Nordic Cross skating more and more athletes have started doing this new sport. Training your whole body and being able to skate on almost every surface all year round are the main reasons for our customers to buy them.
News for 2012:
1. XC Trail and XC Skeleton
2. The XC Trainer has been completely modified.
3. Fender for the XC Path as standard.
Powerslide XC Trail
Announced in 2011 the XC Trail definitely comes in 2012. Due to the low price it is our entry level model. The shell is designed
like a ski boot. The foot is fixed with three broad buckles. The padded inner shoe can be taken out for airing or washing. The
stamped aluminium frame and the calf brake are identical to the 2011 XC Trainer. As with all Powerslide nordic cross skates you
brake by shifting the right skate forward. Because of its robust construction it is particularly suitable for schools and for
hiring. Fans of hard shells will like this model.
Suggested retail price = 239.99 Euro
Powerslide XC Skeleton
Do you remember the Powerslide Blade & Walk from 2009? The new XC Skeleton is quite similar: You step into the shell
with your own shoes. The shoe is triple fixed: at the top of the shaft with a fast lock buckle, above the instep a padded
belt provides support for the heel, the forefoot is fixed with a Velcro tape. The frame is identical to the new XC Trainer.
The Powerslide XC Skeleton is available in two sizes (36-41 or 42-47). The base of the shell can be adjusted depending on
the size. We suggest to use sneakers. This model will definitely become popular. If it goes downhill (too) steeply you just
step out of the XC Skeleton and walk.
Suggested retail price = 249.99 Euro
Powerslide XC Trainer
The XC Trainer has been completely modified compared to the 2011 model, so that it can be regarded as high end model now. The
new stamped aluminium frame and its possibility to vary the wheel position provides for stability and safety – an advantage for
beginners. The Phuzion Open Air boot is almost identical to the XC Path boot. The shaft is not fixed to the shell, but only mounted
at the side. This way the cross skater gains a better mobility forward and backward, which is helpful for braking. The calf brake
is now mounted directly on the frame, so that the boot can be adjusted laterally much easier.
Suggested retail price = 299.99 Euro
Powerslide XC Path
This is the high end model for ambitious cross skaters. It got fender as standard, underlining its sportiness.
Apart from these details Powerslide kept the approved features of the XC Path like the possibility to vary the wheel position and
the “airy” construction of the boot. The plastic rims are provided with the schmaler Cheng Shin tube. The fender at the front and
the rear are indispensable for all-weather skaters. They keep your clothes clean on wet surfaces. The 3-box-extrusion frame is a one
piece aluminium frame and includes two mounting distance standards (165mm and 195mm). The calf brake is assembled to the right skate,
but can easily be mounted to the left skate.
Suggested retail price = 379.99 Euro

Details guarantee best riding qualities
- The firm connection of boot and frame leads to a direct and optimal push sideways.
- You can adjust boot and frame. This is advisable when you have the feeling of tilting inward or outward.
- PU tires (available as accessory) are only used on tarmac. With these you avoid punctures and gain a higher speed.
